what would be a better to get a car or truck?

I’m turning 16 and i was wondering what i should invest in a car or truck i would like a truck because i would like to trailer my atv and sled up north and not depend on my parents car but on the other hand i would want a car for gas mileage. i have 7 grand saved up to by i and i want to get the best value for my money. Any opinions would be helpful thanks
If you are going to be towing more than 5 times a year i would get a truck but if not then get a car. If you want a truck with good fuel mileage get a small truck like a Toyota Tacoma, or a Chevy S10
if your just going to put the atv or the sled in bed you could probably get by with a V6 truck but if your going to be pulling a trailer you”ll appreciate the V8′s power.
if you could find a Toyota 4Runner or a Nissan pathfinder that might be the ticket
i think it all depends on your life style if you live out in the woods and drive on dirt roads get the truck you will need it. if you live in the city get a car.
